Optimize Your Line of Work
Welcome to the 21st edition of IMCAS Annual World Congress.
At IMCAS, we always strive to provide the most recent, most relevant educational content that will help you update and upgrade your practice. This ambition, along with the many contributions from our speakers, exhibitors, delegates and partnerships, is what enabled us to become one of the most anticipated international conferences today.
The 21st edition returns with 265 scientific sessions constructed upon 15 key themes including injectables, lasers & EBD, clinical dermatology, cosmeceuticals, face surgery, breast and body surgery, regenerative surgery and cell therapy, genital treatments, hair restoration as well as professional business.
This year boasts two LIVE courses guaranteed to boost your anatomical and practical knowledge. First is the Thursday classic favorite Cadaver Workshop, which offers an extensive look at the anatomy for injections and threads, genital and EBD treatments through a simultaneous transmission of live dissections and live demonstrations.
The brand new Live Aesthetic Surgery Course, the second live event on Friday, follows the format of the Cadaver Workshop with focus on topics related to plastic and facial plastic surgery. As part of IMCAS Surgery, a three-day surgical module to perfect your skills, the Live Aesthetic Surgery Course presents realtime simultaneous transmissions of live dissections and live surgery performances on the face, neck, breast and buttocks with debates.
For delegates looking to broaden their vision and breadth, the Global Market Summit on Friday centralizes key industrial revolutions in the aesthetic field. Meet the big players of the industry through three informative events to understand the main elements and activities of the market: mergers & acquisitions, future innovations, deployed strategies and investments.
To accommodate the extraordinary number of participation, the exhibition is expanded and takes place on three levels this year, with Level 1 dedicated to an area specifically designed for IMCAS Surgery.
With all these new and exciting sessions, wouldn’t it be nice to attend every single one? For those who share this vision, there is IMCAS Academy! The e-learning platform gathers all the presentations from IMCAS congresses, past and present, so that you can watch and rewatch the lectures on any of your devices! Now with the IMCAS Academy App, you can truly learn on-the-go. Anytime, anywhere. Visit the IMCAS Academy booths to try it out for yourself.
Finally, be sure to experience the congress to its full extent with our very own congress app which allows you to customize your agenda, navigate with a smart map and connect with other participants. For more opportunities to socialize with peers, don’t miss the Networking Cocktail on the second night, and our famed Gala Dinner and After Party on the last night to discuss, exchange, but most of all, flourish in good company.
Thank you for being part of the IMCAS Community. Stay curious and passionate with us!

Lip beautification from filler to surgery
PROF. LUCA PIOVANO
Objectives: Objective of the presentation: To describe scientific literature and my technique for lips augmentation.
Introduction: Some facial structures, such as the lips, are essential for facial aesthetics. Full lips are normally associated to a youthful face, but their shape and volume depend also on genetically inherited characteristics.
Materials / method: They are composed by different anatomical structures, and minimal changes can cause great aesthetic impact.
Results: Deep knowledge of anatomy and accurate aesthetic analysis are mandatory to perform a patient-tailored treatment. A perfect lip is obtained when the patient looks natural, and the treatment does not leave any evident, exaggerated, or bizarre alteration in the lips’ structure. Respecting the patient anatomy, adjusting lips shape, projections and proportions, establishing a suitable lip volume for each particular patient are key points to refine the lips. Gender features should also be considered.
Conclusion: Different materials can be used to perform lips augmentation. However, hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers are the most frequently used to treat this area. It presents an excellent safety profile since it shows no antigenic specificity for species or tissues, having low potential for allergic or immunogenic reactions.
