Il Radiesse® è un filler distribuito dalla Merz Aestehtics composto per il 30% da microsfere sintetiche di idrossiapatite di calcio (CaHA) e per il 70% da una soluzione acquosa di gel.
Il Radiesse è classificato come dermalfiller di nuova generazione, che grazie alle microsfere di calcioidrossiapatite veicolate da un gel carrier mantiene una durata di circa 18 mesi prima di essere completamente riassorbito.
Le caratteristiche fisico-chimiche del Radiesse lo rendono un prodotto molto versatile e facilmente utilizzabile nei trattamenti correttivi in chirurgia plastica ed estetica. Infine, non di poca importanza, sono le sue caratteristiche di sicurezza, senza complicazioni, nel suo utilizzo ultradecennale.
Radiesse permette una procedura correttiva semplice, se eseguita da mani esperte, richiedendo poco tempo di ripresa da parte del paziente. Non vi sono particolari requisiti di impiego, il prodotto è pronto all’uso per un ampia gamma di indicazioni terapeutiche e per quasi tutti i pazienti.
Il Radiesse trova indicazioni anche per situazioni complesse in chirurgia ricostruttiva, nel trattamento di cicatrici depresse o nelle correzioni di ipotrofie complesse, pazienti HIV o ad esempio Sindrome di Parry-Romberg.
